Announcement of breeding event

The Kamfers Dam flamingo breeding island project is a collaborative project of Ekapa Mining (especially Peter Hohne and Jahn Hohne), Kamfers Dam’s landowners (Herbert and Brenda Booth) and the Northern Cape Department of Tourism, Environment & Conservation (especially Mark Anderson). Additional support has been provided by Peter Roux (Envirosec), Tania Anderson (McGregor Museum), the Flamingo Environmental Trust, the Wildlife & Environment Society (Northern Cape Region) and the IUCN’s Flamingo Specialist Group.
